Hello!
I’m a multidisciplinary designer, illustrator and data visualisation researcher based in London. I have a big passion for visual communication, multimedia and storytelling, with a particular interest in using those disciplines to communicate education and research based topics.
A love for the arts has been a constant presence throughout my life, and I have been lucky to study at some amazing institutions including Central Saint Martins (University of the Arts London) during my BA in graphic design, and the Cambridge School of Arts (Anglia Ruskin University) during my MA in children’s book illustration. I’m currently a doctoral research student part of the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Diversity in Data Visualization (Diverse-CDT), and studying at City St George’s, University of London, in partnership with the University of Warwick.
While working professionally in the fields of learning design, science communication and graphic arts, I’ve been exploring ways to use storytelling as a tool to create unique learning experiences. Being a keen learner myself, I’ve focussed my visual communication research and practice on finding ways to humanise information, focussing on the study of visual storytelling practices that sit at the intersection of fictional and non-fictional narratives to enhance comprehension and engagement.
A few of the companies and clients I’m working with and have worked for include King’s College London, University College London, University of the Arts London, London South Bank University, National Council for Voluntary Organisations, Kaplan International Colleges, General Assembly and Oxford University Press.
